Nowadays, everyone is getting rid of the paper trail. Every freelance language provider should now own an online portfolio. If you don’t have one, or worse, if you don’t know what it is, you have absolutely no chance of making it in the world of translation/interpreting.The competitive translation market continues to change, as does the way translators prospect for work. Translators must learn how to effectively present their skills so clients can immediately recognize the unique value that they bring to the market place. This course examines the value of presenting the translator as a complete package by designing an online portfolio that includes his/her bio, resume, sample translation projects, and testimonials based on the desired target market and goals.
