Description

This webinar is designed for freelancers who want to get familiar with CAT Tools in general as well as Translation Memories, and of course with XTM quickly, so that they can start working productively with XTM from day one. After this session, students will be able to work on smaller jobs using basic features for clients who use XTM on a daily basis. They will have access to more job offers and translating/editing opportunities because they will know how to use an increasingly widespread CAT tool.

L'objectif de la formation n'est pas de former les participants à une utilisation avancée de cet outil, mais plutôt de les familiariser avec les possibilités de XTM 6.2 et de leur donner les bases pour commencer à utiliser l’interface pour des tâches simples de TAO. Après ce cours, les participants seront en mesure de créer un compte XTM et d'utiliser les fonctionnalités de base de XTM, ils sauront ce qu'est une mémoire de traduction et ils sauront s'en servir jusqu'à la livraison du document final au client.

Anne-Charlotte PERRIGAUD - Anne-Charlotte Perrigaud is a highly successful and experienced Senior Translator and Project Manager. She has eight years of experience as a freelance translator from English into French with her online consultancy, E-FRENCHTRANSLATIONS.
