Issues relating to such documents will be presented, including the use of passive vs. active voice, future vs. present tense, verb phrase vs. noun phrase and the translation of impersonal constructions. Strategies will also be presented to enable translators to produce better translations of such documents. The presenter will also discuss resources specific to the German --> English language combination that are very useful in translating such documentation.

She holds a Bachelor's and two Master's in Arabic language and linguistics, as well as an Arabic-English translation certificate from New York University.
