Description

This webinar is designed for freelancers who want to get familiar with CAT Tools in general as well as Translation Memories, and of course with XTM quickly, so that they can start working productively with XTM from day one. After this session, students will be able to work on smaller jobs using basic features for clients who use XTM on a daily basis. They will have access to more job offers and translating/editing opportunities because they will know how to use an increasingly widespread CAT tool.

The objective of this training is not to train attendants to the advanced features of this tool, but to make them more familiar with the possibilities and basic features of XTM 6.2 & to provide them with the basics they need to start using the interface for simple CAT tasks. After this session, students will be able to set up an account with XTM and use the general features of XTM from what a TM is to the output of the final translated document.
